Hello, I just joined this community and thought I'd make an offering of a bit of fanfiction on my website :) You can find it at http://www.lordsoftheslashed.com/forum and it is a site dedicated to Lord of the Rings slash, and a growing amount of other fandom slash, roleplays. ;) don't run screaming yet. The stories are actually very good. The site has been around for a few years now and the stories are always changing and growing but some of the pairings included right now are Boromir/Faramir, Boromir/Legolas, Boromir/Faramir/Aragorn, Glorfindel/Erestor, Aragorn/Frodo, and others :) New RP's/Stories are always being added and there is an archive for some older closed RP's as well. Some time ago I read a slash fic (F/S) in which the ring makes Frodo go loopy in the "abusive bf" sense and he rapes Sam on repeated occasions. I do not remember the site I found it on, the author, or the name. It was set during the quest (obviously) and I think I recall them being somewhere dark- Moria or Mordor maybe? (Sorry I can't give much more info on it. I read the story back during a time when I didn't do much other than read fic, and they all sort of blend together now in my memory. Too much in too short a time.)
I told a friend who was looking for a story along these lines that I would search it out for them. I am bad at searching, and have now given up. If anyone knows the story, or even thinks they might know, I would appreciate a link to it, or even a "maybe it was this".

I created a new community that may be of interest of some of you. It's a LOTR's themed stamping community--a fun community made where people fill out a questionnaire, post their pix, and other members vote as to which LOTR character they best suit. After the votes are tallied, you get a cute little "stamp" of the specific LOTR character you were deemed as for your LJ or website. What more could you ask? ;)
[FYI: this is in NO means a real "rating community" of any kind. It's actually just a stamping community, where you are voted as a character. None of this "hot or not" crap--EVERYONE is accepted and given a character. It's all just good, nice, fun. :) (a few examples of other character stamping communities can be found here and here.)]

Well, I've been fussing with html a bit, and similar thingies, and a new community popped by (all of a sudden, I was surprised too!!! :oP)!!!
And what is it about, you ask? The name will tell you all: fin_lubs_eri!!! Weee!!!
I've been doing some searching around LJ and couldn't find anything! And this little thingie is completely dedicated to *cough* my *cough* erm... OUR dearest elves: Glorfindel AND Erestor!
And the community is soooo simple! Fics, pics, manips, ANYTHING that comes to your mind, connected with those two sweethearts!
*sigh* They're so sweet... I know...
Anyway... everything is allowed (OK, behave and such), only thing I ask is that helpful little thingie called LJ-cut, 'cause not all of us have some DSL or cable or so... :o(

Hi everyone !
Was searching for a community of LOTR-obsessed like me... and finally found one !
What can I say to introduce myself ? I'm 17, got a ring around my neck, no more place on my walls for new posters (anyway I always find place for another one, don't know how lol) can spend my week end on the internet for LOTR quizzes, pics, fanfics or anything, and I'm definately a pervu hobbit fancier... I must say I am not just a LOTR whore but mostly a Frodo whore. My love (obession) with Elijah Wood started long a go with "Paradise." But I also have been a fan of the LOTR books since 5th grade. So I almost came out of my skin when I heard 5 years ago that they were making a movie and that Elijah would be playing the role of Frodo.
I get chills down my spine everytime he makes that "O" face. And I know I'm not the only one who was crying thru the ending....
It's great to see that I am not the only LOTR OCD person in the live journal area.
